A smile can make or break a person’s look. No one likes to look at crooked, yellow teeth and no one likes to have them. Getting the perfect smile requires a lot of care and probably some dentist work, but it will all be worth it in the end. Having that straight, white smile will give you confidence that will make you never want to shut your mouth.
Unfortunately, we aren’t all born with perfectly straight teeth. Whether it be genetics or sucking on our thumbs when we were young (hopefully you cut that out at a young age), almost everyone has a little imperfections in their smile. And if you were born with perfectly straight teeth, you’re one lucky son of a bitch.
The best way to get your straight teeth is through braces and most of us got that at a young age and had to experience through your awkward teen years. If you’re in your 20s, 30s, or 40s, you probably don’t want to be a grown man with braces on so luckily there is another option. Although a little more expensive, you can opt out for clear aligners like Invisalign. It may take a little longer than braces, but people will hardly notice you have them on.
You already know this, but this post can be finish with this unsaid. You need to brush your teeth at least twice a day to keep those teeth white. To keep up with your hygiene, you should be practicing flossing and mouth wash as well. Not only is this to keep your teeth white and clean, but to keep your mouth smelling fresh.
Whiten Your Teeth
There are a ton of ways to whiten your teeth, the best way is to get a whitening at your doctors. But if you’re too lazy or to scared to go, then crest whitening strips work pretty well too. You only need to do this about once every six months. Warning: It will make your teeth sensitive for a day or two.
Take Care of Your Lips
So you got your teeth fixed and whitened and you’re feeling really fresh. Next, you need to take care of the things around it; the lips. There are hundreds of brands that will keep your lips moisturized but I would have to say my favorite is Jack Black.
Practice Your Smile
This last step may sound silly, but it honestly works. Sit in front of a mirror for as long as you want and practice your smile. Take a selfie and see how it turns out. That way, when it’s photo taking time, you know exactly how you’re going to look and not risk the chance of your smile looking weird.
Last Reminder: Remember, when we talk to other people, we mostly look at their mouth, make sure yours is looking good.
